DONALD Trump’s home has been raided by FBI agents looking for missing classified documents, sparking an astonishing tirade from the former president.
His Mar-a-Lago mansion in Palm Beach, Florida, was at the centre of a search for papers he allegedly took when he left office after losing the 2020 election to Joe Biden.
But Mr Trump launched a predictable attack on the FBI, claiming the raid was a bid to stop him from running for president in 2024.
He said: “My beautiful home, Mar-a-Lago, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents.” He called the raid a “weaponization of the justice system” and blamed “radical left Democrats” who do not want him back in office.
Mr Trump’s son Eric joined in with his own rant on America’s Fox News, claiming he received a call on Monday morning informing him of the impending raid on his father’s home.
