Castleford 14

Leeds 8

TWO-TRY Bureta Faraimo finally got Castleford off the mark.

The ex-Hull winger proved the difference as his side secured a first win of the season at the fifth attempt.

And this crucial derby victory over fierce rivals Leeds will boost caretaker boss Andy Last's chances of getting the job permanently.

But the hosts were thankful ex-Cas winger Derrell Olpherts bombed a glorious 75th-minute chance on his first return to Wheldon Road.

It completed a bad night for Rhinos fans, who were stunned before kick-off after reports emerged that hooker Kruise Leeming had been granted permission to look for a new club.

Leeming, 27, was Leeds skipper last year and was involved in England's preparations for the World Cup.
