Referee Michael Oliver and his English assistants Simon Bennett and Stuart Burt oversaw the advent of Semi-Automated Offside Technology, which will be used in the Champions League and the World Cup this season.

In a contest of six offsides in Helsinki, the new technology, which sees officials alerted to offsides by artificial intelligence, was rolled out without a hitch.
