Cops are 'keeping an open mind' on Nicola

Yesterday, Supt Sally Riley said more than 40 detectives are working on the inquiry but it did not mean there was a suspicious element” to the case.

She added: In light of other inquiries being discounted from the investigation so far, although we are keeping an absolutely open mind to anything new, clearly, our main belief is that Nicola did fall into the river”

Supt Riley said police are reviewing 500 pieces of information submitted to officers in connection with the case.
