DAVID MOYES is winning his battle to get a British backbone at West Ham.
The Hammers have completed a £30million deal with Southampton to sign England international James Ward-Prowse.
They have also agreed a £30m deal with Manchester United to sign Harry Maguire (below), who is discussing personal terms and weighing up a move to east London.
And they are clearly backing Moyes's approach with a potential move for Burnley's Josh Brownhill (below).
The Hammers have also signed Mexico midfielder Edson Alvarez in a £35m deal with Ajax as the club reinvests the £105m cash from selling Declan Rice to Arsenal.
But they could also lose Brazilian midfielder Lucas Paqueta, who is a target for Manchester City.
