A FEW months into life as a professional head coach and Warrington's Sam Burgess is loving the "weirdness" of it all.

Being top of Betfred Super League after five games helps.

But his predecessor Daryl Powell was in that position after winning all of Wolves' opening eight matches last year. And he was sacked the end of July so there's too fussed about the table little wonder Burgess isn't before just yet.

The ex-England captain is more bothered about the team; it was his ethos as a player and continues to be so as Super League's youngest head coach.
