Rotherham 1 Middlesbrough 0
HAKEEM ODOFFIN'S priceless second-half winner ended Rotherham's yo-yo run and sealed their Championship status.
In the past six seasons, the Millers have been promoted to the second tier three times but then been immediately relegated back to League One.
And victory over high-flying Middlesbrough was greeted with emotional scenes.
Boss Matt Taylor, who arrived from Exeter to succeed Paul Warne last October, has performed a fine job.
The Lancastrian, who was celebrating promotion from League Two just 12 months ago, said: "What's been before for this club makes staying up even sweeter.
"It's fully deserved - if there is one thing running through this club it's spirit and desire.
