POLICE have seized a teenage gunman after eight students and a security guard were shot dead at a school yesterday.
Kosta Kecmanovic, 13, is said to have gone on the rampage with his father's gun after getting a poor mark in history.
Officers say he planned the attack meticulously, sketching classroom plans and drawing up a list of intended targets.
The shooter killed a guard and then three students in a hallway, then opened fire again on others.
He called the police himself, although they were already alerted.
Kecmanovic was arrested at Vladislav Ribnikar Elementary School, in Belgrade, Serbia, for pupils aged six to 15. The son of a well-known radiologist, he was a talented pupil, branded a "nerd" by fellow children.
Kecmanovic allegedly used his father's gun along with two clips of bullets, firing 13 to 15 shots.
