England believe pace ace can make his Mark again

ENGLAND will once again unleash extra bowling firepower on Pakistan's batters because it "makes the difference".

That is how stand-in skipper Moeen Ali sees it and, while he is keen to secure the two victories needed to win the T20 series, England are also determined to fine-tune their World Cup plans.

Mark Wood is set to return and lead the line in Lahore, with the recovered Chris Woakes backing him up.

The extra pace of Wood, who bowled some 97mph bullets in Friday's win, will be vital in the World Cup, with Jofra Archer and Saqib Mahmood unavailable and Olly Stone not in the squad.
