Lazy sunny afternoon ...once the clouds clear

THE sun will be out for bank holiday revellers today with temperatures nearing 20C but some will have to wait a few hours before getting the deckchairs out.

Cloud, rain and even thunderstorms will move over Wales and eastern regions first thing, before giving way to sunny spells by the afternoon.

Temperatures will be warmer than they were yesterday. Then, with highs of up to 19C in the South, families were out in force to take advantage of the weather.
