THE mother and father of Archie Battersbee did what any loving parents would do – relentlessly fight to preserve the life of their child, even when the outcome was inevitable.

Throughout this horrifying ordeal, Hollie Dance showed a fearless determination to take on officialdom, showing the grit only a mother can possess.

Few could argue with Hollie when she told how she and Archie’s father Paul Battersbee were “living every parent’s worst nightmare”.
