Honey I shrunk the fitness tracker
Daily Express|January 16, 2025
There are more health and fitness devices on the market than ever before, with the technology to track everything from step count and heart rate to sleep and stress. Over the years I've been lucky enough to try lots of them, but for some reason have never stuck with one long term.

Honey I shrunk the fitness tracker

It comes down to not wanting to wear something bulky on my wrist. I don't even wear a watch.

But recently, the fitness tracker has downsized. Now, you can wear your device discreetly as a ring on your finger.

Yes, enter the Oura ring. Jennifer Aniston has one. And now, so do I.

Designed to look like, well, a ring, it comes in six metal finishes. I wear gold so chose one to match.

To find the right size I was sent a sizing kit, which you can order online, but you can also go into a stockist (John Lewis etc) to try them on.

Once it arrived, like Gollum, I hungrily put it on. As a ring it's chunky for sure, but not overly so, and very lightweight.
