Hancock 'harassed and assaulted' on the Tube

MATT Hancock was harassed on London’s Underground by a furious commuter who called him a “murderer”.

The former Health Secretary, 44, was followed through Westminster station by a man berating his record during the pandemic.

Footage showed the man shouting at the MP and I’m A Celebrity contestant as he was ushered through the station by a Transport for London employee on Tuesday at 9am.

Mr Hancock hastily got on a train carriage after the man challenged him to a “gentlemen debate”.

But his tactic of ignoring the heckler only riled the man up even more, and he ended up branding Mr Hancock a “murdering *******”.
