Expensive dinner! Ex-NatWest boss loses £7.6m over Farage bank row

Dame Alison Rose left after admitting she had spoken to a BBC journalist at a charity dinner about the former Ukip leader's relationship with Coutts, owned by NatWest.

Mr Farage revealed in June that Coutts was planning to close his account, claiming it was due to his political opinions.

Weeks later, Dame Alison was forced to admit that she was the source for the BBC article.

Scrapped

NatWest stressed that there was "no finding of misconduct" against the former boss.

Dame Alison said: "I am pleased that NatWest Group has confirmed that no findings of misconduct have been made against me.
