EMMA RADUCANU has been backed for a top-10 return by Andy Murray's former coach.
Alex Corretja guided Murray's rise from 2008 to 2011, a period in which he reached three Grand Slam finals and five other semifinals. The Spaniard, who will be part of Eurosport's team for the Open next Australian week, is convinced Britain's No.1 woman can put herself back among the world elite.
Raducanu stunned tennis 16 months ago when she became the first qualifier to win a Grand Slam tournament, sweeping to US Open victory at Flushing Meadows as an 18-year-old.
A run of injuries and loss of form have caused her fall to world No.75 but Corretja believes it is a temporary decline.
