DAN SKELTON yesterday issued a positive update on Grand National contender Le Milos saying he has never had a better opportunity of winning the Aintree marathon.
Skelton has given Le Milos just one start since his victory in the Coral Gold Cup at Newbury when he finished second at Kelso this month.
His best finish in the Grand National was with outsider Blaklion, who came sixth two years ago, but regards Le Milos of a different calibre.
"He's the best chance I've had of winning the Grand National," Skelton said.
