BRAZILIAN new boy Lucas Pires made a sensational debut as Burnley gave their new head coach Scott Parker a superb victory in his first league game in charge.
Full-back Pires, 23, signed from Santos, split Luton apart with a great pass to send Josh Brownhill in for the Clarets' opener in the sixth minute.
Parker's men went on to smash the Hatters with goals from Wilson Odobert eight minutes before the break, Dara O'Shea after 72 minutes and Vitinho 10 minutes from time.
