PHIL FODEN says you would have to be "stupid" to think Manchester City are still in the title race.
Foden was honest enough to admit that Pep Guardiola's side are now facing a battle just to make the top four and a guaranteed spot in next season's Champions League.
City are languishing in sixth place, 12 points behind leaders Liverpool having played a game more, amid a turbulent season for the four-in-a-row Premier League champions.
England star Foden said: "The title? It's done for sure. We know. We're not stupid.
"So we've got to aim for top four, that's the next target, then obviously the Champions League as well. So it's not as if the season has gone.
"But we've got to be realistic, haven't we? The performances have not been good enough to get up there.
