FAST fashion giants Asos, Boohoo and George at Asda are to be investigated over their products’ green claims.
The inquiry will examine whether the brands are pulling the wool over customers’ eyes by saying that products are more sustainable and eco-friendly than they really are.
The Competition and Markets Authority said it would take action if the firms were found to have made misleading claims.
Officials said they would look into Asos’s Responsible Edit range, Boohoo’s Ready for the Future items and the George for Good collection.
