Five easy treats to make with store-bought puff pastry

PUFF pastry is one of those freezer staples that can save the day when you need a quick snack, dessert or easy meal idea.

Whether you're craving something sweet or savoury, a sheet of ready-made puff pastry can be transformed into all sorts of delicious treats with very little effort.

While it may look simple, puff pastry is actually one of the most labour-intensive pastries to make from scratch. It is created by repeatedly folding and layering butter into dough, a process known as laminating.

As the pastry bakes, the butter creates steam that separates the layers, producing that signature light, flaky texture we all love.
