FPIs inject over 38,000 crore, quickening market pulse

This surge is primarily driven by favourable shifts in the global economic scenario and a strong domestic macroeconomic (macro) outlook.

The investment follows a modest inflow of ₹1,539 crore in February and a massive outflow of ₹25,743 crore in January, according to data from the depositories.

With this, FPIs' investment in equities has turned positive to the tune of ₹13,893 crore in 2024 so far, alongside ₹55,480 crore in the debt market.

Himanshu Srivastava, associate director-manager research at Morningstar Investment Research India, highlighted that FPIS have emerged as significant buyers in March.
