Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar on Friday held a meeting with senior officials of the country's major cities and select states and directed them to make efforts to improve voter turnout in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Municipal Commissioners (MCs) from major cities and district election officers (DEOS) from a few states, including Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, were among those present in the meeting.
