Runs rained as 100,000 fans braved oppressive heat at the Narendra Modi Stadium to see their home heroes, the Gujarat Titans, dent Chennai Super Kings’ play-off chances with a 35-run win in the Indian Premier League 2024.

The packed house had everything to cheer for. They jumped up in joy for every run that the Titans’ new opening pair scored for 18 overs and then gave roaring approval when their favourite cricketer, MS Dhoni and the other Chennai boys hit sixes and fours on Friday.
