Hosts Gujarat Titans face an uphill task to break their hattrick of defeats in the Indian Premier League this season when they take on defending champions Chennai Super Kings on Friday at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
The Gujarat team has lost seven matches so far, with defeats in their last three ties. They have plenty of problems at hand, starting with the poor form of skipper Shubman Gill.
Gill has scored 322 runs in 11 innings with a strike rate of 137.60. In his last five innings, his highest score is only 35 with three singledigit scores. He has only two 50-plus scores this season.
