Public universities in Gujarat may have embraced the changes suggested by the National Education Policy (NEP)-2020 to start four-year courses, but the Education Department seems to have missed including them in the courses listed under the Gujarat Common Admission Services (GCAS). It is for the first time that the Education Department has launched GCAS, a registration platform for students wishing to take admission in various courses in 15 public universities.
