The 27-year-old switched to rugby union and joined Racing 92 in the summer of 2022, shortly after rupturing his Achilles playing for St Helens against Salford.
He did not make a single appearance for the French club after suffering a relapse of the injury last February The Welshman made 143 appearances for St Helens across six seasons, winning three Super League Grand Final rings and a Challenge Cup winners' medal, and scoring 88 tries.
Bath hope he will return to full fitness in March and be available for selection for the friendlies against Gloucester and Leinster.
Grace will be joined at the West Country club by two South Africans who have joined from the Bulls.
