Harvey set for life on the other side
The Rugby Paper|June 04, 2023
AFTER 11 seasons with Taunton Titans, Brett Harvey has decided it’s time to enjoy the game from the other side of the whitewash.

Harvey set for life on the other side

Harvey, 35, made 158 appearances for the Titans, scoring 19 tries, and showcased exit velocity by playing 20 times and scoring four times in his final season at the southwest club.

“I’d been thinking about it since the end of last season,” said Harvey. “After Twickenham and winning there with Somerset in the County final I thought ‘Do I go now? I’ve got the perfect ending.’ But it came off the back of a knee injury and missing six months of Taunton’s season. So I didn’t want to end my career without a proper Taunton ending.”

The friendships fostered by rugby were reflected in the great tributes that came in following the news of Harvey’s retirement.
