During that visit, both nations pledged to strengthen their collaboration in various key areas, including digital public infrastructure, cybersecurity, startups, artificial intelligence (AI), supercomputing, 5G/6G telecom, and digital skills development.
Acknowledging the rapid evolution of digital technologies, India and France recognised the need to leverage their respective strengths and philosophical alignment in their digitalization efforts. This commitment was articulated in the joint statement issued after the delegation-level talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron.
In alignment with the Indo-French Roadmap on Cybersecurity and Digital Technology, the two countries reiterated their dedication to uniting the efforts of their cybersecurity agencies and associated ecosystem partners. Their shared objective is to promote a peaceful, secure, and open cyberspace conducive to cooperation.
