Where are you from, and how would you describe your life growing up?

 I grew up in a lovely area of northwest Indiana near Chicago called Crown Point. Our house is tucked back in a beautiful wooded area where deer and other animals are often seen roaming around. We had all the perks of a small town, but luckily less than an hour outside of Chicago.

I went to a very small school where everyone knew each other since childhood. I loved being social and played almost every sport. During the summers I loved spending time at the lake & on boats

How did you find your way in front of a camera, modeling?

I used to model as a child, but I stopped around the age of eight. Later in life I became a fashion designer and spent the majority of my time behind the scenes. I started working with a company called Lucy B, which focused on vintage inspired lingerie. Lucy B lead me to discover the new pin up world and is actually the brand that I am wearing in my pictures. I always loved styling photoshoots and I thought it would be fun to do a shoot for my boyfriend at the time. After that, I discovered burlesque and the rest is history.

What do you like best about being a model?

I am still not used to being called a model. Sometimes I am shocked by how lovely the photos turn out. I think the best thing about being considered a model is the opportunity to promote body positivity. I was never comfortable in my own skin in my younger years. I always wanted to be thinner, taller, prettier, or someone else. Burlesque and modeling has lead me to appreciate my body and have a new confidence even in my flaws. My goal is to always empower women & inspire them to love the skin they are in.
