To say that my skincare concerns have been an uphill battle is an understatement. As someone who has suffered from acne-prone skin, breakouts and acne scarring for most of my teenage and adult years, my skin has always made me feel self-conscious. It became so bad and resulted in the use of prescribed medication, which affected my self-confidence and mood. Needless to say, trying a new product always brings with it a touch of anxiety, because I don't know how my skin will react.
My skin has always been dehydrated, and although drinking water helps, I needed reinforcements. As I'm always on the hunt for something to assist with my skin concerns and after trying almost everything I could that was on the market, it only made my skin worse (RIP to all the money I wasted).
