Pitlochry Highland Games

Pitlochry

The Pitlochry Highland Games were one of the first to be re-established in Scotland in 1852 so this is always a special occasion. Expect Highland dancing, pipers, track and field events, grand pipe band contests for grade 1 to 4 and novice juvenile, and a grand finale of massed pipe bands.

Largs Viking Festival

Largs 

This fantastic family event celebrates the strong Viking links and heritage in Largs - notably the Battle of Largs of 1263, the last Viking invasion in the UK. Expect all your favourites such as the opening parade and ceremony, lots of live entertainment, food and craft market, full Viking village and the Festival of Fire, with fire procession.
