Wireless speakers that don't skimp on serious sound.

ALTHOUGH THEY'LL NEVER replace full-bore stereo rigs, the best wireless loudspeakers do a remarkable job of delivering the sonic goods without the visual clutter. The following examples pair discreetly stylish aesthetics with standout audio quality, meaning all you have to do is kick back, relax and disconnect.

Piega Premium 701 Wireless Gen 2

Piega, located on the shores of Lake Zurich, is known for loudspeakers with equally refined sound and aesthetics as well as elegant aluminium enclosures (by Swiss designer Stephan Hürlemann) that play particularly well in minimalist interiors. The largest in its Wireless series, the Premium 701 Gen 2 (US$7,995 per pair) integrates four 5.5-inch woofers, a 5.5-inch midrange and a proprietary ribbon tweeter powered by 200W of combined output per channel. Controlled by remote or smartphone, the 112cm-tall floor-stander can be integrated into a Piega multiroom system, with built-in digital correction fine-tuning for each space. And, in addition to streaming, listeners can run source components into the small Piega Connect module.
