The objective of the game is to use handheld controllers to "slash" through virtual reality boxes that appear on the screen. These blocks vary in colour and are indicated by the colour of the saber that should be used to slash them. The default controller configuration is red on the left hand and blue on the right. The blocks may also be marked with an arrow indicating one of eight possible directions in which the block may be required to be slashed through.
