The pandemic is (mostly) over, and assuming the best going ahead, it is time again to revisit the wardrobe. This is not because the seasons are changing, but mainly due to the fact that with more people stepping out for work, meetings, and other social engagements, we all don't want to be seen in our jammies. Sure, what has changed since the pandemic is that it isn't entirely alarming when a corporate VP turns up for the annual budget huddle in his designer Crocs, but the desire to wear a bespoke jacket made to Savile Row standards will always linger.
But even as you shift the suits back to the front of the wardrobe, don't go discarding your street-gear just yet. In fact, the amalgamation of the fitted and formal with the oversized and casual is now the new definition of dressing up (and down). Here are some ways to straddle this twoheaded fashion horse:
