DIOR OBLIQUE MOTIFS, the CD Diamond initials along with a "Christian Dior Atelier Avenue Montaigne" patch are pretty much high luxury "signatures" in the fashion world. In reality, you're more likely to see these emblems on runways rather than race tracks; but when you take into consideration the grand tapestry of sociocultural norms, then taking into account the champagne-drenched podiums of racing winners and their chi chi, dressed-to-the-nines racing wives, collaborations between the automotive and luxury worlds seem oddly appropriate.

Under the adept guidance of Dior's Head of Creative Kim Jones, resurgent energy of cross-genre adaptations and exquisite translations of couture and culture, be it for runway shows or a video game like Gran Turismo 7, the ideation of the sneakers to the shape of the racing gear is nothing short of fantastic and as burdensome as creating an in real life collection; hence, it is quite a pity that though none of Dior x Gran Turismo 7 will be made into actual garments and accessories that you can wear out in the real world, its existence shows that the potential is there.

The Artistic Director of Dior men's collection designed the fashion brand's gear or "skins" for players to use in the game with a complete set right down to the virtual version of a vintage car - a cream-coloured De Tomaso Mangusta.
