For a long (read very long) time, I found myself trapped in this notion that winding down - and I mean really winding down - was not on the radar for those who want to be successful in life. In a world where it is a race to be part of the hustle and bustle, taking a well-deserved breather every now and then was not the norm for me, and I often judged myself for being lazy on the occasional slower day. Even on 'rest days' I would look for activities to keep the guilt from creeping in.
