When building their new home these owners wanted to create an open-plan space that would suit their needs now as well as for years to come. They began their search for a kitchen designer early on in the design process and on a friend’s recommendation they paid a visit to Christoff Interiors where they met with designer Alan.
‘We had been round a few different places but nothing really stood out to us,’ explains the owner. ‘We wanted something a little out of the ordinary but it felt like we kept seeing the same thing over and over again.
‘That changed when we spoke with Alan. His enthusiasm was evident from the start and we loved that he took the time to get to know a bit about us and how we wanted to use the space.’
Alan came up with a plan for an in-frame kitchen with a bespoke U-shaped island that encompassed a breakfast bar with seating area, the sink and preparation space and a built-in table and bench.
