A steep ascent leads to this exclusive neighbourhood, a few minutes' drive from Whistler Village in Canada, where architectural homes line streets which are covered in snow for half the year. At the top of the hill was this house finished in stone, wood and steel that Kelly Deck of Kelly Deck Design was asked to redesign. The family, who lives in the US, spends vacations here in winter to snowboard and in summer to mountain bike.
