The Fibre Co.’s new autumn-winter pattern collection has been inspired by the wonders of the night sky
Reach for the stars

AS THE nights draw in here in the northern hemisphere, and the temperatures start to drop, many of us will be looking for cosy, comforting knits to enjoy

through the autumn and winter months. During this coldest season, the night sky is often at its most beautiful, with stars at their brightest and meteor showers bringing drama – and it was these natural wonders which inspired the latest design collection from The Fibre Co.

The Almanac Series, launched in 2021, has become a popular source of seasonal inspiration for knitters. Series I celebrated our connection to nature through traditions of herbalism, while Series II looks to the heavens for inspiration. “The beauty and grandeur of the night sky and awe-inspiring astronomical phenomena guided our creativity,” explains The Fibre Co.’s founder, Daphne Marinopoulos. The team will be marking each month of the autumn-winter season with a Yarn of the Month, along with two brand-new knitting designs with a starry theme.
