MAJA'S SWEDISH SOCKS by Maja Karlsson
INSPIRED BY family stories and memories, folk tales and village traditions, Swedish designer Maja Karlsson has produced this wonderful book with more than 30 sock patterns. It's beautifully photographed and filled with fascinating information about Maja's design influences.
The textured 'Work' socks were created in honour of the female mine workers of Värmland, for example, while a tartan style design echoes her father's work outfit.
The 'Ex Libris' socks feature colourwork initials inspired by bookplates in the books of older relatives, and can be personalised using the alphabet chart provided.
