Cloudline's autonomous airships represent a powerful synthesis of modern fabrication techniques, state-of-the-art control software and sustainability. The airships will be capable of carrying a payload of up to 100 kilograms, reaching flight distances more than 400 kilometres. These specifications make it a standout solution for efficient and cost-effective remote monitoring and logistics operations, filling the gap between drone, helicopter and satellite operations.
Harnessing the power of solar, Cloudline's airships operate silently and emit zero carbon, thus offering an environmentally friendly alternative in the aerial monitoring and logistics sector. With a cruising speed of around 25 knots, it ensures reliable and efficient deployment across varied geographical terrains. "The development of our autonomous airship platform in South Africa aligns with our mission to revolutionise aerial monitoring and remote logistics on a global scale," stated Cloudline's CEO Spencer Horne.
