During the months of August through November 2022, 13000 South African army troops descended upon Lohatla, CTC base for intensive training and evaluation of the integration of SA Army Forces. This training included the highest unit-level commanders (Colonels) and the culmination of the successful outcome with SA Army being awarded a Combat Readiness Certificate. Around 100 various dignitaries, including the current Minister of Defence and heads of regional Defence forces were invited to attend a full demonstration of the SA Army's capabilities. The Army went all out to ensure that this was a success with the SA engineer Corps levelling part of the hill side to provide an optimum, elevated viewing position for the dignitaries with another display area on the reverse side, show casing all the SAN Army's current and potential future equipment. Very impressive display rivalling that of the recent AAD 2022 event.
