‘FF KISS’ TABLE

by Jonas Van Put, for Fendi Casa

This coffee table by young Belgian designer Jonas Van Put adds a new twist to the classical Roman arch. Its base comprises two intersecting arcs, reminiscent of a tender embrace, hence its name inspired by Frederick Soddy’s 1936 poem The Kiss Precise.

In 2021, the studio completed The Arc sports hall at the Green School in Bali (founded by Elora's father, designer John Hardy). Made from a series of arches spanning an impressive 19m, it was a pioneering feat of bamboo engineering.
