To understand Fred Samuel, one only needs to look at the maison’s glittering legacy. The jeweller’s illustrious pieces, which span a rich history that began in 1963, are but a reflection of Samuel’s adventures and vigour for life. His love for boating, for one, led to the renowned Force 10 bracelet, which blended gold with a steel sailing cable. And in the vein of life’s smallest and greatest pleasures, he created joyous charms—driven by his playful nature and philosophy of not taking himself too seriously.
Meanwhile, his fascination for colours birthed a series of rare and semiprecious creations touched by the deep blue of a sapphire or reflecting the glinting white of a pearl. Samuel’s inquisitive spirit for life lives on in every Fred creation— where he sought out light in every facet, despite the unconventional or inaugural, thus earning for himself the moniker of a modern jeweller.
