Turning 25 is a milestone that calls for a celebration. With Fendi’s Baguette bag reaching a quarter of a century old, the Italian luxury house is paying homage to the cult accessory designed by Silvia Venturini in the most decadent way possible.
Kicking off the Baguette bag’s silver jubilee was a star-studded show at New York Fashion Week. Supermodel Linda Evangelista made a sensational return to the runway at the debut of the Fendi 25 Years of the Baguette Capsule Collection, which was held in The Hammerstein Ballroom at Manhattan Center. To create this special anniversary line, Fendi teamed up with some of fashion’s biggest names. Marc Jacobs, Tiffany & Co, Sarah Jessica Parker and Japanese luggage brand Porter lent their hand at fashioning Baguette bags with their signature colours, fabrics and monograms.
