Grace Lee joined the predecessor to Informa Markets in 2001, worked in the Leather& Fashion team to organize APLF and ACLE. She has been working on these two shows for the past 10 years before making her transition to the Business Development Department involving in the post M&A integration of trade fairs of various industries. She returned to Leather & Fashion team as Event Director in 2020.
APLF-Leather, Materials+ and Fashion Access is organized by APLF Limited, a joint venture between SIC Group and Inform a Markets. For over 3 decades, APLF Ltd has been providing the global leather and fashion industries with its most important meeting and trading place. APLF-Leather, Materials+ and Fashion Access were relocated from Hong Kong to Dubai, UAE in March 2022 as a special edition when the travel restrictions in Hong Kong made international trade shows impossible to hold there. In 2023 March, APLFLeather, Materials+ and Fashion Access will be back to Dubai again after its successful launch in 2022.

Your take on the current Footwear industry environment
The footwear industry has been very important for many countries particularly in Asia as it generates employment opportunities. International shoe brands have been paying more and more attention to sustainable innovations and provide consumers with personalization of design. How could shoe manufacturers improve their product quality and production efficiency while facing the increase in the costs of materials and labor would be a hot topic to be discussed.
