Entering the cavernous tent at Place de la Concorde, guests were greeted by a replica of the Pont Alexandre III, completed with Beaux-Arts-style lamps, which offered a spectacular grandeur of what was to come. The light transformed to a different shade the moment the models floated onto the runway in silhouettes which move as if to reflect the overlapping passage of time-specifically that of Christian Dior and Kim Jones. Influenced by Christian Dior's innovative vision while revisiting the aesthetic codes of the Maison, the Dior Autumn/ Winter 2022-2023 men's collection echoes the continuum of designers who have been linking the past, present and future.
