In 1921, Shri Kishan Das Gilara set up Rambhajo’s, with a small clientele limited to the city of Jaipur. His motive was to provide quality kundan, meena, polki and jadau ornaments to his customers. Today, the business is being looked after by the fourth generation, with brothers Nitin, Abhishek, Prateek and Vipul managing the affairs. “While most jewellers are moving to create pieces that can be worn on an everyday basis, Rambhajo’s continues to believe that each piece is an heirloom, as a jadau piece is considered a prized possession in any Indian jewellery box, and is often lovingly passed down through generations,” says Harshi Gilara, Chief Marketing Officer at Rambhajo’s.

The house of Rambhajo’s, therefore, aims to experiment with traditional jadau designs to serve the modern connoisseur. In 2023, Rambhajo’s aims to make multifunctional jewellery, which can be worn with traditional Indian clothes or with modern, contemporary outfits.

Today, Rambhajo’s prides itself on being a brand with a 360-degree model that processes the rough to make a diamond and manufactures in-house jewellery. It is renowned not just for its original designs, but also for using high-quality materials and exquisite craftsmanship.
