As I wait to check-in, my eyes dart around the swanky lobby, all polished and gleaming with gold and brass, complete with a bar and piano, and high ceiling. Modern and dressed in Art Deco’s symmetrical and streamlined aesthetic, the hotel is a slender beauty. Opened in December last year and housing a total of 241 stellar rooms, the InterContinental Bangkok Sukhumvit is poised to woo local and international travellers alike with quiet confidence.
