REFINING CRAFT BEER EXPERIENCE WITH KARAN JAIN
Globally, BrewDog has made strides in the last ten years with over 200,000 crowdfunded shareholders, five breweries on three continents, and distribution to more than 80 markets. The CEO of Aloha International Brewpub Pvt Ltd, Mr. Karan Jain is the creative mind behind BrewDog India. An inspiring individual Mr. Karan has been instrumental in bringing BrewDog to India and continues to aid it's growth throughout the country.
BrewDog has been launched in the historic city of Amritsar on 15th April 2023, which made it the first outlet in Punjab, and the fourth outlet nationally and is soon to come to Chandigarh. In a recent interview with Mr. Karan, we had the opportunity to talk about the upcoming launch and much more.
BrewDog has been making headlines with a lot of launches in various cities. What is your strategy behind selecting a location for Chandigarh BrewDog?
With a global presence across 30 countries and over 110 locations, we are very happy to bring the ultimate craft beer experience to Chandigarh. The craft beer culture is spreading across India and we are confident that the evolving Chandigarh market will welcome this addition to the hospitality scene. We bring a diverse variety of craft beers on tap which will be a great attraction for beer enthusiasts. Amritsar and Chandigarh have been our choice in our current leg of expansion given the evolving food and beverage scenario and an evolved consumer base. We inspire a new kind of hospitality experience, combining our biggest passions with sustainability at its core. With the incredible brewery and a clued-up crowd of beer fans, we are excited for BrewDog Chandigarh.
How easy or difficult is it to open/launch a restaurant with a liquor license?
